Healthcare by women, for women
I offer one-on-one naturopathic appointments for my patients to discuss any health concern that they might have at the time. Each person is unique, and while no two treatment plans will be the exact same, we all need to start with the foundations. With an undergraduate degree in nutrition, I believe that food and optimal nourishment is the foundation of any treatment, but I also employ the usual naturopathic modalities of acupuncture, lifestyle counselling, herbal remedies, and nutritional supplementation.
While no concern is too big or too small, my clinical passion lies in helping folks through sticky spots in their menstrual, hormonal, and reproductive health. I have a particular interest and clinical experience in treating PCOS/PMOS, PMS/PMDD, painful periods, Perimenopause, and fertility related concerns.
Menstrual & Reproductive Health
—
You are a wild and cyclical being. Evidence based care for period pain and irregular cycles
From our very first period all the way to menopause, our reproductive systems are constantly in ebb and flow. Your menstrual cycle is your fifth vital sign, giving you integral information about your health on a monthly basis (like a convenient monthly report card). Whether it be fighting menstrual cramps, dealing with heavy flow, or coming off of hormonal birth control, I would love to support you. Naturopathic healthcare has evidence-based approaches for all of your reproductive health concerns.
Hormonal Health
—
Get your groove back with PCOS/PMOS, PMS/PMDD, and perimenopause
Hormonal health is a beautiful cascade of interconnected moving parts, but when something is off, it can throw you for a loop. Your focus, concentration, energy levels, sleep, and mood can all be affected by how well your hormones are working and whether or not they’re in sync with each other. Menopause is one of the biggest hormonal concerns that I see in practice, and naturopathic care has so many options to deal with the most common symptoms (those hot flashes, am I right?). Let’s talk, and help you transition into this important life stage with grace and ease.
Fertility
—
Breaking fertile ground with Diminished ovarian reserve, poor egg/sperm quality, unexplained infertility, and more
Whether you’re just starting out and looking for pre-conception support, or conceiving has been more difficult than expected, I’m here to help. Fertility and conception can feel like an uphill battle, but with naturopathic tools and support, it doesn’t always have to be this way. Whether you’re doing this journey solo or with a partner, I’d love to offer my support and guidance. From trouble-shooting your fertile window, figuring out the mystery of IVF, and supporting egg quality with targeted nutrition/supplements, I can help you in whichever way you see fit.
